Well I don’t know if it’s a new game, but I’ve never seen it anywhere and I’ve been doing it for a while so I think of it as my game. I technically should be writing my assignment for 374 ( don’t worry if that doesn’t make sense to you, I don’t get it either.) but I feel like doing this instead.
The rules of the game are simple. You either hit the “Random Article” link on wikipedia or you find a link to some article on your own, read the article and then pick a random internal link in the article and follow it. You are not allowed to click on links to articles you have already read and any page that can reasonably referred to as a stub can be back out of. You keep this up until you reach an article that has no internal links that you have not yet read or you don’t feel like playing anymore. I have yet to start this game and actually end it by reaching a page with all read links.’
This game is oddly interesting, you can end up at the oddest places, normally in topics that have nothing to do with what you started on. You can also learn the oddest facts (like there are some really odd fetishes out there ) and some interesting things that you never knew about.
So if anyone wants to try this game I’ll provide a link: Backronym.Tomasz Kolodziejczyk on January 16th, 2007 | Filed under Games, Personal |
