On the topic of Blogging

As you may, or may not, depending on how observant or your definition of blogging, I’ve recently taken up blogging. I’m not going to claim I’m good at it, to be honest I’m not even sure if anyone really reads this other then a couple friends of mine because, well I don’t really know why. In any case I’ve learned something important over the last dozen posts or so: finding things to write about is hard! I feel like I should write something new everyday, not really because I think anyone will read it but because I think I’ll become a better adequate writer eventually.

You see finding things to write about is difficult, mostly because I don’t want to just re-write someone else’s news unless I really have something to add to it. There is nothing wrong with being one of the sites that do repost news, they are very useful, I just don’t have the reader base to do that and I like using this site as a place to put what I think about things. Really I don’t think I’ve subjugated enough people to my crazy ideas in my everyday life and I need to do it on a global scale. Another thing that makes this a bit harder is that I don’t want to write about how my day was, and I’m to old to whine about “how much my parents fucking suck, they keep intruding in on MY fucking space” or what ever kids complain about these days — off topic, if you’re one of those kids: It’s not your space, your parents pay for it, they are just being nice enough to let you use it for free.

One day I’ll actually put something useful in this space, I’m not sure when that will be, but maybe soon. Anyway, I’m going to go watch Heroes, you should all do the same.
